Glossary:
A welding documentation is the documentation of the spatial arrangement of a plant and the existing weld seams in the system. All welds are assigned a unique number, which is also included in the isometrics and logs.
The welding documentation is done in parallel with the installation and should accurately reflect its progression and individual progress. Complete documentation includes procedural instructions for all welding processes, the specification of the welded products, work instructions, weld isometrics, weld logs, and an isometrics parts list in which all welded-in components are listed.
