Glossary:
Pure steam is particularly "clean" and is also characterized by a high energy content as well as good controllability and heat transfer. It is therefore used for many industrial processes, for example for the sterilization of medical products, devices, cutlery or equipment.
In contrast to ultrapure water, no regulations are prescribed for pure steam. However, it is stipulated that pure steam must at least be produced from drinking water and must not contain any added substances.
