Glossary:
Conditioning is a process for the pretreatment of water in which all interfering substances are completely removed, kept in solution or at least stabilized during the membrane process. This effectively prevents damage to the membrane surface.
Conditioning of the water also serves to ensure operational safety and economic efficiency.
