Glossary:
Calibration is a measurement process to determine and document the deviation of a measuring instrument from a reference measurement (standard measurement). In the process, calibration procedures, the test equipment used, ambient conditions, permissible deviations and results are precisely evaluated and recorded.
After any necessary adjustment of the measuring instrument, the calibration procedure must be repeated.
